How it works: Simple Daily Routine

A set of illustrated cards to cut apart and use for your child's daily routine.

  1. Download and print at actual size (100%) — never "fit to page".
  2. In your printer settings, choose A4.
  3. Cut out each card along the dashed line.
  4. The card with six clocks is cut into six pieces — place a clock on any activity you only do if there's time (for example, morning play: we can play if there's time left after breakfast and getting dressed).
  5. Arrange the cards in order — on a wall, a fridge, or a routine chart.
  6. Let your child decide the order for some routines — story before or after bath?
  7. Move a card, flip it, or check it off as each step is done.
  8. Go through the routine together, one card at a time.

FAQ
Which paper size should I pick?

Both editions (A4 and Letter) have the same content; pick whichever your printer normally uses.

What do I do with the six-clocks card?

Cut it apart into six pieces. Tape a clock onto any activity you only do if there's time -- for example morning play, if there's time left after breakfast and getting dressed.

Why isn't this a booklet to staple together, like your other free materials?

Routine cards are not a book -- they are used loose, on a wall, a fridge, or a routine chart, not read page by page.
